it catalogs ok but when performing a search the results are terrible to view and browse. For instance there is no hierarchic view of a specific cataloged cd/dvd. Everything is thrown in the search results and you have to make sense out of it.

Other review apparently written by applet's author. It will only put 1 disk into a catalog file (so you can't have all your MP3s in one catalog, or categorize your picture CDs into a few catalogs)... then it won't even read the catalog files it just made if you use the Load Catalog button, anyway... claims they're not valid catalog files!

Useful plugin, also outputs zipped xml files (.catalog) of mounted cd/dvd's.
