As others have said before, this is a pretty good clock! What would be great would be different chimes, as well as a chime/grandfather clock equivalent for every quarter of the hour, second ticking, and the option to mute them (sound only on the hour, only on the half hour, every quarter, ticking, etc). If there was an option for different clock faces, that'd be great too!

This has a lot of potential. The Westminster chimes themselves could have a bit more gravitas - try sampling the chimes from BBC Radio 4's 6 o'clock news programme (http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b006qjxt - you'd have to silence the newsreader). It'd be great if it could chime the hour (e.g. "dong" 10 times for 10 o'clock - as per darrell's suggestion). It'd also be good to have the option for chimes at half past and quarter to/past the hour (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Westminster_Quarters). An option to have audible second tics (you would have to sample that from a nice big wooden real grandfather clock) would also be great. Please let me know if/when you have made these changes and your gadget will resonate throughout my cottage!! (On the other hand, it would be good to have the option to mute the clock altogether so as not to interrupt the crucial moment in Harry Potter!)

Yes! nice work. I would love it even more if I could tell the clock to chime between (for instance) 8am and 10pm and stay silent during the other times. Great work though!

really! chimes every 1/2 hour!!! the idea is great, but the constant chiming is not. ditto on the "ugh, options not available". somone suggested options for intervals: that would make this gadget perfect. =] so, nice job and hope to see the improvements. thnx

Hiya! Thanks for the wonderful gadget. Make sure the new version really does the Westminster Quarters correctly (one quarter at 15-past, 2 quarters at half-past etc etc) as well as the chimes for the hour. Looking forward to it :)

Presentation is everything, and this clock has it! Agree with statements about needing to match the chimes to the hour, AND please add a mute option. The option box has plenty of room as it is empty. Thanks for the great clock!

Yeah, one chime on every half hour maybe instead of two. And as for the hour, if it's 8o'clock, make it chime 8 times. And yes, there is something wrong with the options menu as nothing appears. A brilliant gadget that just needs a bit more work, but it has great potential. Fix these things and get a 5/5 from me ;) Otherwise, well done!

As others said, the chime is incorrect. On my computer (HP with Vista Ultimate) it always chimes 2 at the hour. Also, it would be a good idea to be able to mute the chime. The clock face is great.

the chimes count are wrong.... at least they ring at the top of the hour.

The word is "Westminster" Why is the Options window empty? Is there a way to make it quiet at night? Otherwise it is a really classy clock!

My clock has no hands. I love the chimes though.
