Same just like half of the other people commenting it is stuck on "Requesting Status Feed". Quite annoying since I wasted 15 minutes trying to get it to work.

Status feed does not work, sits in "Requesting status feed..." mode. Without that feature, this app is only good for telling you if you've got a message, poke, or invite of some sort... rendering it rather useless to be honest. Running Windows XP Pro SP3 with Google Desktop 5.9.0909.30391-en-pb, hopefully that helps. (Update: quite some time later, can't tell how long exactly, I just know it was sometime within 2 hours, the status feed started working. Very odd? Updating from 1 star to 4 stars, would give 5 stars if that huge delay in the status feeds showing up could be rectified!)

only thing i want different about the gadget would be that i could update my status from there. kinda like the twitter app. i can see updates, and i can update myself. I would also like to be able to "like" a status update. you see your friends status's change, it would be awesome to have a little "like" icon i can click to "like" a status update.

I'm running Win7 84x and it isn't working. Worked for about two seconds and hasn't since. Seems to be stuck on "requesting status feed." Would be great if it worked! Would like to be able to update status feed also... Will stick to Digsby.

Great thingy. Works as it should. One feature request perhaps: can you make back and forward buttons for status? Sometimes the status changes before I get my chance to click it. I could use back button to go back on it and click it to open in browser.

Caused my sidebar to freeze and become totally unusable. Had to manually delete gadget via my documents -> my google gadgets. Running Win7 RTM 64-bit.

The gadget has limited use because you can not resize it while docked.Most of the posts were cropped. The idea is (very) good. However, the implementation lacks a little.

status feed worked for ONE session. now it doesn't show the status anymore. i downloaded it for that feature alone! bummer.

Great gadget! The only bug I've seen is that it freezes the sidebar if there's not enough room for it so the easy and obvious workaround is to make sure there's plenty of room in the sidebar before docking!

Very good, however the status feed does not update for me.

I corrected window resizing in version 1.0.0.5, and it works for the use in the sidebar. However, if you undock the gadget, and make it narrow enough, some cutting will take place still. I Also added tooltip to the status feed, so that feed entries that do not fully fit in the available area can be viewed as tooltip. Btw, if you would like to create a new localization, I would be happy to add that into the gadget package.

This currently the best of the facebook apps. Resizing is a little wrong, and some of the status feed gets cropped on the bottom. But it is still a lot better than the other two.
