winamp crashes at the moment its current playlist becomes empty. the crash is reproducable. winamp version: 5.551. windbg analysis showed that possibly a null-pointer exception happened in module "gen_Winamp_0_" within winamp.exe. looks like this module periodically queries the name of the currently selected song. perhaps this query returns with a pointer to the string from which the module tries to read afterwards. this read might happen unconditionally (without checking the validity of the pointer). and so when the playlist is emptied and the module queries the selected song again it receives a null-pointer and tries to read from that.

I have the same poroblem with gdAmp. Winamp ver 5541 .When i want to close winamp it is crashing.

This is one of the better winamp gadgets out there, but there is a problem I've noticed. If you stop, and then hit play again I think you are sending the wrong stop command to winamp. You are stopping the entire playlist, so if you click play again it will start from the beginning of the playlist.

there is something wrong, my winamp is 5.52 en, when i use this gadget, error will happens when i try to close winamp, i don't know why...
