It is an offline web browser and will index the offline copy. For the uninitiated, an offline browser copies all the pages and content (images, files, etc) you specify from a web site to your local system. Similar to the mirroring concept except you aren't providing a copy of the site to the rest of the world. This is the same way Google works since they also make copies of web sites then index and experiment with that data on their own network since it has the advantages of speed and without any risk of the target web site down for maintenance. Before you accuse me of working for the author of GDS Spider, let me assure I'm not since save the $40 and just download HTTRack for free and accomplish the same things after Google Desktop indexes your local copy of site.

oh, yeah, really, it's so "useful". There's tons of other FREE PROGS (E.G. offline browser extended) that do this work. And it "helps" us to "integrate it to the GDS index list". And its fee($40). Fee shit with no functions. Bravo-bravo!

People, how about clicking the "Learn more" link above. It gives a nice description of what this plugin does. It downloads a whole website into your cache and indexes it, allowing you to search and view it fast and easily. Question is: What about .asp/.php/dynamic pages? How does it handle these?

Come on people, half the descriptions of the Google gadgets here are useless and this is the worst one I've seen. How long does it take to describe what your tool does, 10 minutes?

Great Name but unless you are a geek there is nothing in layman's language to tell me what this product can do for me.
