I really like the Gmail gadget because it allows me to monitor and view my email without constantly signing in. I have a nit picky suggestion. When the red "Loading" indicator pops up it always distracts me. It would be nice if it could be disabled or change it so it isn't so distracting. Thanks for writing this gadget. For me it's the most useful gadget by far.

Good one, but sound notification would be nice. And I would like like right-click option, that it will open the mail in the web browser. Otherwise it is really good gadget.

Would be nice to have a shortcut somewhere on the gadget that opens up the full gmail site in browser.

I'd like to be able log into multiple emails... like personal as well as professional. Add "sign into another email" in the dropdown menu and a tab at the top and I'd be set!

Excellent save two minor complaints. -I can't seem to reply to existing threads (I type my message, hit "reply" but nothing happens) -I can't attach documents.

It can not remember my account name and password under Ubuntu 9.10. The third-party mail gadget works good but I prefer this one.

Not a bad idea generally. But still too "young". I've found the following bug. When I turned on my PC, the Inet was off. I forgot about it and tried to sign into Gmail from the gadget. The text fields blanked out, It showed red "Loading" in the top right corner and freezed. Then I connected the Inet and tried either to write my credentials again or press the "Sign in" button, but no effect. No refresh option present in context menu as it usually was. Undocking and docking back did not solve the problem. I guess it will come back working after I reboot, but that is a whoa-cha-cha, isn't it? The "Remember me" feature is a fake.

Make sure it saves your email while composing it. Currently when you click another gadget while you're composing an email, the email disappears and is lost! There should be a way to finish and send the email.
