Would be awesome if the collapsed view said the account name rather than just "Gmail" for those with multiple accounts

I started using Microsoft gadgets when I installed Windows 7. After a month I have come back to Google Sidebar because of this gadget. It is compact, does everything - great design!

Really nice - fits right in where I want it. Be nice if it allowed me to tag my emails from its interface. If we could integrate the calender into it as well - that would mega uber ;)

Good, its small which is always nice. I wish we could choose A) the color and B) we could choose what colors/shades we want for read and unread messages. I'm getting confused every 5 minutes lol

so far so good, reply to jordan.. the "reply" button was unresponsive to me also, but if you scroll down there is a "send" button... just like with regular gmail, if you start typing in the box, it automatically is set for reply

User should be allowed to set his/her preference. Such as How long to automatically check the email.

aha, now that I know that you can delete and archive from the gadget (right click on msg), thanks to another poster, it would be awesome if we could see our labels to know if they are being archived to the correct folders. :D

It would be cool if it would automatically refresh a little more often. Or at least put a refresh button on the main screen like the reader gadget. It's really nice though.

Great gadget! One enhancement request: The Gmail (unread) message count should immediately be updated when messages are deleted via the gadget (right click -> trash). The current behavior is for the refresh to occur at the next schedule email check by the gadget (some internal setting). Thanks!

It would be really nice if this gadget actually worked! It has only worked well for a sum total of a week over the last 6 months. Love it when it appears and works as it should. Hate it when more often than not it is no more than a white empty box. Lift your game Google!!

There is a bug where it wont let me reply to an email, i can type my response but the 'reply' button is unresponsive. This happens frequently. Otherwise its perfectly fine for a desktop tool.

Very nice in general. One very annoying behavior is that if the the gadget is in the Sidebar in auto-hide mode, clicking outside the gadget closes the gadget and any incomplete reply is lost ! Happens very easily, either by accident or trying to spell-check a word for example ;-)
