This gadget takes up too much room, if you collapse it, the expand menu option doesn't work! In fact, this is true of all the gadgets! Phooey!!!!!! Google should be ashamed of releasing substandard software!!!!!!!!!!!!

To be really useful, the following should be implemented: 1. The gadget should be able to remember its size after the sidebar has been minimized and restored. 2. When viewing an e-mail, there should be a right-click menu containing the usual options ('Show pictures', 'Delete', 'Mark as spam' etc.) 3. Option to launch Gmail settings

Works well except I prefer to run it minimized and 'expand' the widget only when there's new mail to read. Problem is, the 'Collapse' menu item doesn't toggle to 'Expand' until I change zoom to a different level then back again.

The trash is not displaying the number of items in trash correctly. From browser, I see that that there are 300 items, but in the gadget, I see that there are 1000 items. Good otherwise. Would have been wonderful if it played a song when new mail arrives.

Works in Linux. Nice gadget but it freezes and become unresponsive after a few hours.

Nice gadget. Missing two important features, though. Please add the ability to delete emails from the expanded view. (I know that I can right click and trash stuff from the gadget)Also, please add a way to quickly launch full Gmail in my browser from the expanded view and from the gadget. That would bring it up to 5 stars for me.

This is a great gadget, but when I am composing a message and click on another gadget in the middle of it - I can't get back to the draft that I started. Any advice?

Continuously loads without logging in, and like nearly every Google toolbar gadget I've tried, LACKS THE ABILITY TO SCROLL. This would be SO MUCH IMPROVED with the option to scroll through your messages. On the plus side, I love the way it handles large conversations.

I love the gadget! Keeps me informed of new gmail messages on the fly. Why only four stars? (1) It makes no differentiation between read and unread messages. (2) I check "remember me" each time I sign in, but every day I have to sign in again. But it's better than the other similar gadgets I've tried, by far.

I think it's great. The only issue I take is that it defaults to opening Gmail in IE8 instead of in Chrome. ???

这个小工具在compose邮件的时候,不能添加附件吗?please answer me in Chinese!

Great Gadget! Thanks! Some suggestions: (i'm on a Windows XP machine right now) 1. Please don't clutter the interface in future releases(remember Google's emphasis on simplicity). Put only the really basic stuff in. I don't really expect a gadget to roll-out the whole caboodle. If the user needs to use more of Gmail's features offer a button/link that opens to a browser window with the full Gmail in it. 2. Draft Message concern: a. A draft is lost when the google desktop looses focus - and hides (i.e. when another app is selected or just by clicking anywhere on the XP desktop). It would be great if you can go back to the draft when you re-select the Deskbar and the gadget. b. Aside from the "Send" "discard" buttons of the "compose" window it would be nifty if you could add a "Save Draft" option. c. I dont see the Draft folder anywhere :-( Others: a. Please add mouse wheel and keyboard arrow key use in the folder/label selection window. Mousing over the "up" "down" arrows just moves things too fast especially when the gadget occupies a small area. b. Window/Gadget geometry preservation. -It would be convenient to have window geometry preserved during a "toggle expanded view" just like how it behaves in the "undock from sidebar". - When the gadget is reverted back and "docked to sidebar" it would be good if it goes back to its original size before it was "undocked". At the moment it inherits the height of the "undocked" window. This messes up the other gadgets in the deskbar. Very useful stuff congratulations! Best regards!

Why it always signs out when I off the PC, even if I tick the box to remember me?

Shari
Please let me delete my emails straight from the gadget -

Seems useful, however, even though my default browser is firefox, it tries to launch IE, which freezes up and crashes google desktop.
