Would love to see the "bottom row" of Google Talk displayed in the sidebar while using this gadget. It has four components: +Add · View · Mail Icon · Voice Icon. The Mail Icon shows the number of unread messages and allows for a single click to email. However, it doesn't show up in the side bar. If you expand the size of the gadget, you see a fleeting glance of these items, but only that.

Good - but the gadget resets it's size on restart. Doesn't matter how big you make it, it'll still start out very small.

The amount of space to show friends is very limited. I wish it would show people who have most recently become available at the top of the list.

Very annoying that I need to have Google Desktop as a platform. Why can't it run in the taskbar like the other chat gadgets? Wakeup call for Google...we like a lot of your apps but not necessarily ALL of them. Don't force me to use them if I don't want to. Are you trying to be MS?

Very nice, but my gadget often disappears upon restart. Gtalk still opens as a separate program, but I have to manually add the Gtalk desktop gadget. Any thoughts?

I would love to see, such as when using Chat in Gmail: (1) the "group chat" option (2) the "send files" option (3) the ability to sign into AIM through Google Talk

I would like to be able to sing in in invisible mode like the gadget in gmail. An option to hide your friends custom message would be nice aswell

Two recommendations: - scrollbar to scroll through online contacts (at the moment I always miss people who actually are online as the screen is too small) - the gchat window resizes itself every time I restart my computer, so I have to make it larger every day again and again. Isn't it possible for the gadget to 'remember' its size?

Three things - Invisibility, the ability to send an SMS message like you can with chat within gmail and scroll bars to scroll through people online.

I like the Gmail gadget, and I like the Google talk gadget - any way we could get some better integration between the two? For example instead of launching the Gmail web page could we open the message via the Gmail gadget instead? Just a thought.
