Salut à tous! Le plugin tourne parfaitement bien chez moi avec les documents openoffice 3.1 (Google Desktop 5.8.0809.23506-fr-pb) le 23 Juin 2009. Important : Penser à redémarrer Google Desktop après installation du plugin. Ensuite aller dans le panneau de configuration pour cocher l'utilisation de celui-ci. Hi! Plugin is Ok with openoffice 3.1 documents the 23/06/2009 (Google Desktop 5.8.0809.23506-fr-pb). Important : Restart GDS after install the plugin and go to the options panel to enable it.

It's a definite shame Google Desktop doesnt support (out of the box) support for new OpenOffice documents. It would be the best indexer by far, but now I revert to MS Indexer. It must be politics, as they support it on the Mac.

doesnt work anymore with GDS 5.8x thats really sad, how do I now search in all my documents? copernic is too slow on my computer and openindexer is still too buggy (and I dont want to have 2 Desktop search engines ...) PLEASE google, there is an iFilter for ods,odt files so why not just include it?

The plugin only works with admin users. What is necessary to do to work with any user?

Does not index OpenOffice files anymore. Does not search documents in Polish. Does not allow reindexing. Does not work when Zone Alarm is set up to be most restrictive. Copernic is _light_years_ahead_ as far as OpenDocument files are concerned. This gadget is a piece of junk now.
