No Jot+ is not a free program, but it IS a very worthwhile program and this plug-in is much appreciated by those of us who have found Jot+ a valuable tool. This is not a scam. Describing Jot+ as a "free form database" doesn't mean Jot+ is free. Google the phrase and you will find many commercial products described that way. But this plug-in IS free and much appreciated.

Thank you to the review above! I almost downloaded this product thinking it was free. It is not! Though they do reference, I would not have caught this but for the review warning me above. Thank you! Google, get this off this site search. Its misleading!

SCAM!!!! DONT touch this -1- it's NOT a gadget, it's a plugin to index your Jot+files using google desktop SEARCH. -2- The app isn't even F*R*E*E, You have a trial of 30 days then have to pay 29.95$ to register it if you want to keep it. I DEMAND THAT GOOGLE BANS THIS COMPANY TRYING TO EMPTY OUR WALLETS WITH FALSE HOPES OF HAVING A NOTE TAKING DESKTOP GADGET! :@
