If you really want to index/search photos, just use Picasa.

I had the same issue. So i had "Metadata indexer" written. It is available n the plugin site.

I installed it and nothing happened. It doesn't see metadata. Does anyone know of a way to search photograph's metadata with google?

Just like the other users in the discussion forum, after installation I found it doesn't appear to do what it is supposed to. I would like a recommendation on another gadget to index IPTC fields in JPEG's.
