Maybe I am doing something wrong, but I keep having trouble accessing the admin page. Also, list of available desktop media to share is not a complete list of what is on my computer. Will play with it a bit more later, but so far seems a bit flakey :(

Doesn't work in vista if y ou have the UAC panel switched one. Switch it off in user accounts and it works. (Vista Home Premium)

Now make it compatible with the Wii Browser and you might actully get people to use it

Its a beta people. Works fine with my PS3, streaming of youtube videos not as smooth as I would like, but hey, is is promising

Its quite disappointing that Google is developing more for windows than Linux or OSX. I am still waiting for Picassa on OSX and I now I got another desktop gadget that I really want but it doesn't run on Linux or OSX. Also, this just seems to be contradictory to Google's business interests and operating philosophy of support for open source.

"This gadget requires Google Desktop 1 or above. " *Bzzt* wrong: it's PC only (after I went and installed Google Desktop for Mac.. grr was looking forward to finally having an easy to use (being a Google thing, bound to be good on that front) UPNP app on Mac :(

to get it to work on the 360, just edit C:\Program Files\Google\Google Media Server\UPnPDeviceDescription.xml as a refrence, http://www.free60.org/wiki/Networking#UPnP_MediaServer_Connectivity

Why would I switch from Tversity to this ? Any reason ? Oh, btw I run Tversity from Windows/Fusion on my OSX, medialink for OSX is not freeware.

@matt, amrit: Just use Elgato's EyeConnect server on your Mac to get it all. Works like a charm...
