I like metric time, but this gadget could use a lot of improvement. First of all it's too big on my gadget bar, I can resize it but on its own, when my screen resolution changes, it defaults back to huge, which is often. It should be a little smaller by default, or stay the way I set it (or both). Also when you mouse over it, the 24-hour time shows. There should be options on how to display the time, like 12 hour, 24 hour, metric with colons, or metric with just a decimal. Also review your metric prefixes!

A very cool idea. Hey ctyankee, the US was supposed to go metric since the Metric Conversion Act of 1975.

Well, ctyankee, didn't you know that the rest of the world has been using the metric clock for decades? Next thing you'll be telling me that you still use gallons and miles. Probably all that feet and inches stuff too . . .

Granted, this gagdet is not all too useful. Great idea, though. And to the use of 'metric' time: If people would just please realize already that everything should be 'metric' for its ease of use, instead of 24 hours, 60 minutes, one eight of a mile!

I like it.

The clock looks OK, but you might want to review your metric prefixes. ;)

Great concept David!! It is always refreshing to see developers thinking outside the square, and challenging norms.

Well, I hope you had fun developing the gadget. But from a usefulness standpoint, I'd call it a total failure. Perhaps you could give some reasons to support 'metric' time?
