From some reason it's not accurate on my fresh installed XP but few days before it works perfectly!

Like the design, but on a laptop switching between wired and wireless it's almost useless. Needs restart and frequent reset of maximum.

Thanks for the great gadget, Ben. I also have Satellite up/down and need to monitor my through-put. I notice that Net Meter can't see my pod-casts coming down via MediaMonkey. Maybe it uses a different port than you monitor? Also, a feature that would be nice - rolling 24 hour download volume. I currently reset each day. Thanks again, Ben - dynamite gadget!

I would give it five stars if it would keep working. I am on my third download, but each time the indicators have quit working and stay pegged on the left. The rest of the displays are still active.

It shows network speed ie speed of all the networks including ethernet , WAN, wireless network adaptor and ms tcp loopback interface but doesn't provide option to select the network which you want to monitor. For monitoring internet you only need to monitor WAN(PPP/SLIP interface) for wired internet through ethernet. so this option should be included for getting correct internet usage which is much less than total network usage

At least something that WORKS between all these third-party poor quality gadgets, containing nothing but bugs and a threat for your system. The Gadgets made by Google itself are mostly nothing to complain about: they are checked and well-programmed, however sometimes too few features (built-in options) to be rated as real valuable gadgets. But I have my sincere doubts about most third-party gg's... except this one, for what it's worth

Great tool, since we are on a wireless connection, we need to monitor our usage. One thing I am missing though is a reset on the usage. I would like to monitor my usage every month. Installed on Vista and works fine. When the internet connection failed, I still got a usage reading between my router and the computer. This throws the usage off a bit but hopefully we won't be disconnected very often ;-) Other than that, excellent Tool P.S just found the reset button, It was right on top. Cool!

Nice looking,downloaded even though Google says they have not tested it.I like old school dials/Analog hands.I have Netmeter v1.1.3 installed to on WinXP, and tested them side by side,seems just as accurate as Netmeter.I have Satellite DSL so I HAVE to monitor my download/upload usage all of the time.Thank You Ben!

Highly Inacuurate shows sppeds of more than 1 mbps (up and down) on my 384 kbps down and 128 kbps up connection...

Installed fine, works fine. Very effective and very handy. Something that would make it even-more-useful would be 'pegs' to mark maximums. (when using a static range, not the 'auto' setting) Another perk would be to assign it to specific NICs, or have an aggregate readout. (all NICs) Well done so far!

I tried installing this on an XP SP3 OS and the gadget won't install with the error message -------------- Failed to obtain WMI locator for Win32_PerfFormattedData_Tcpip_NetworkInterface class This gadget only supports Windows XP or higher ---------------------- What's up with this?

WHY I CAN'T ADD THIS GADGET TO MY GOGGLE DESKTOP ?!?!?!?! AND ALWAYS GET THIS : "THIS GADGET REQUIRES AT LEAST VERSION 5 OF GOGGLE DESKTOP" I'M USING GOGGLE DESKTOP V.5.5 SO WHY THIS HAPPEN TO ME?!?!?!?!
