20th July 2008 - Thanks for the feedback, epastern. I have now uploaded version 4.0.0.1 which resolves the aforementioned issues, as well as improving functionality. It is now possible to search by full state name, state abbreviation, party (Dem, Rep and Independent), and of course, senator's name.

Love this gadget! Was doing some research on rising fuel prices, and found senators' offices were easily accessible via Senator Finder. Easy to pick a senator, send and request info to and from their offices, as well as skype their office. It's the simple access that I like. A nice real world tool. Well Done!

It's a pretty nifty gadget. I especially like that it uses the senate's website to get current contact info/listings. a few suggestions/errors: Line 251 of the main.js file has flase instead of false. Might want to update the image since the layout has changed a little. Your code lists all non-Democrats as Republicans; you need a check for third party senators as well.
