Where is Google on this? It's been 4 years since Larry made this thing -- we need a Wordperfect indexer already!!! It's very unfair. It would save me so much time.

Ira: Add my voice to the incredible fact that Google is not supporting Word perfect document search. This plug in needs to have box rechecked every time I use it and has never been updated. Shame on Google!

Would be wonderful if it would finally work, but its indexing seems erratic perhaps because Google unplugs it persistently. We have thousands of WPX3 files and really need a reliable indexer. GOOGLE or others out there PLEASE HELP! We would be happy to pay for an indexer that would really work!

Works, but keeps getting unchecked. Anyone know why this happens? Can/will Google stop it from happening? It's hard to keep resetting (and resaving) preferences all the time. Mack

I totally agree with Joe - it is unprofessional for Google to list non- working plug and it is disrespectful to all Word Perfect community to ignore us. pjj

With every MS update this indexer is unplugged and the box must be reticked. Why can't Microsoft leave it alone?

It is very disappointing and shocking Google cannot make its indexer work to ferret out WordPerfect docs. This failure will cause me to think much less of Google. Its patina of greatness is significantly tarnished. There are desk top indexers that can find WordPerfect files and I will start using them and stop using Google Desktop. This may even cause me to stop using Google Search since if they cannot even get it right with their desktop search, I now question the quality of their internet search program.

Site not working. Can't you provide your own indexer for WP? I have hundreds of files in that format.

This plugin was made in 2005 and it still is not working correctly. Sometimes it works. Then all of a sudden, it becomes unchecked in GD plugin preferences. I just reindexed the GD index and it looks like only about 4 wpd docs out of thousands have the "preview" available. Website of the plugin publisher not found online. It is unfortunate GD does not offer this functionality built in. It is also not clear how the plugin works. One time I indexed (without opening all files) and the plugin properly came up with previews/index of all wp docs, this time only a few (maybe crashed).

Site is down. Too bad. We have hundreds of documents in WordPerfect, because we're a law firm. Really really need this :(
