You can get customized alerts for new content in your gadget. If you'd like to turn off this feature, follow these steps for Desktop 5 or later:
- Click the down arrow in the top-right corner of the sidebar.
- Select Configure gadgets.
- Find the gadget in question and deselect the 'Enable Alerts' checkbox.
- Click the OK button to save your changes.
- Click the Options button in the top-right corner of the sidebar.
- Select Configure gadgets.
- Find the gadget in question and deselect the 'Enable Alerts' checkbox.
- Click the x button in the top-right corner to close the dialog window and apply the changes.
